All week I wondered, “Now that the election is over what will SNL do for fun?” How about Justin as one of the leotard dancers in Beyonce’s video, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)?”

I missed the beginning of the show, but when I turned the channel to SNL, this is the skit that was in progress. I admit, it cracked me up, but there was something really freaky about those guys in dancing around in leotards and heels. And Justin… I’ll let you watch it.

The infamous costume malfunction talked about around the world

Remember Janet Jackson’s infamous costume malfunction during the 2004 Super Bowl half-time show? Well, four years later, CBS has been cleared of the $550,000 fine slapped on the network by the FCC. One thing is for sure, there hasn’t been a more talked about half-time show since.

Judges said in the court ruling that one of the determining factors was that they considered Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake “independent contractors” and CBS could not be held accountable for their actions.

The fine was levied by the Federal Communications Commission after one of Jackson’s breasts was exposed briefly during a performance with Timberlake during halftime of the Super Bowl.

Also the judges said it was impossible to determine how many complaints CBS received after incident.

In court filing, the FCC said the network received more than 542,000 complaints—an “unprecedented” number. But CBS disputed the number of and significance of complaints, claiming that 85 percent of them came from form letters generated by well-organized single-interest groups.
