I’m a news/information junkie; a Virgo with a Type A personality. I enjoy reading, especially mysteries/suspense. The fun is trying to solve the mystery before the book ends. I think I have a secret fantasy of being a detective.
By profession I’m a graphic designer/art director and photographer. I’ve recently begun to try my hand at writing fiction (short stories). So, this is where I’ll discuss some of the stuff I like, such as things in the news, books, movies and whatever else catches my attention. Lately, most of my posts have been about the election and the shenanigans surrounding it. I am not a political strategist or expert, just a concern citizen who chooses to exercise her rights of free speech and to vote. But, things have gotten so ridiculous they are hard to ignore. Because of this, I have had to add this note: If you disagree with me, my opinions and the political candidate that I choose to support, that is fine. But if you leave a rude comment, it will not get posted, so don’t waste your time typing. We can have a discussion, but I don’t have the time to go back and forth with insults and arguments. You are always free to use you mouse and go read something else.
On the other hand, if you like what you read, feel inspired, informed, etc. please feel free to stop by often.

I finally read your about page. It seems we have a few things in common. Your where I’m trying to get to in my profession. I’m getting around to completing my site, although small now I hope it grows to a professionals level. I plan on having it up again this week.

How is your fiction writing coming along? I’m trying my hand at it as well. So far, I’m enduring my rite of passage – receiving rejection letters for submissions.
I’ve read about three of the Janet Evanovich novels. What a laugh!

Thanks Michelle for stopping by. I’m been so busy lately that I don’t get to update as much as I’d like. I never intended this to be a political site but–stuff happens.
Hopefully when things simmer down a bit I’ll get back to the writing, but I’ll keep you up to date.

Your comment on my site about liking the “old” John Mc Cain…I totally agree with. He barely resmembles the man he was at one time. He was NOT a fearmonger…like he is now. His slogan “Country First”…is a lie. I did a post titled…Country First…Really Means “SCARE Country First”.
Personally, I’d hate to see the legacy he’s built…go down the drain for all this nonesense he’s been doing during this election cycle.
