Help Change THE GAME

The CW television show, The Game, has not been canceled, but the producer is petitioning the network to change the show to an hour long format. It seems the CW network has been phasing out their half-hour comedy shows, so the producer is pushing to have the format of the show changed. Check out the video clip. If you’re a fan of the show, help with the petition and join the “Change The Game Campaign.” The deadline is April 15th… hmmm, that seems to be another deadline also.

  1. Interesting, I thought they moved to BET…maybe it’s just the shows in syndication. Heading over to vote. Thanks!

    • @curvygurl–Thanks so much for your comment.

  2. I love the show, The Game. I feel that this is a REAL depiction of the real world, whether you are the wife/fiance of a football star, or any other profession. It’s been a long time coming for tv to provide a show that depicts truth, where the “happy ending” may not always be the case. The situation that is going on right now between Derwin and Melanie, I am sure is not an original situation and it is easy for viewers to either relate through their own situations or show empathy when watching. I’m sure there are many “Tasha”’s in the world as well, where being a single black mother and raising your child on your own, you develop a defensive system that often chases people out of your life. This show deserves a 1 hour time slot, because each episode unleashes another lesson in life that we can all use, no matter race, gender or religious background.

    • @Folake Oladapo–The sad thing about this is that after all these years, it is the only urban or black show on network television. (House of Payne is on cable.)

      Thanks for your comment.

  3. I don’t know if my brain can be sucked dry for an hour because of this show.

Before switching to an hour, consider finding some direction and sense in the script first! This show is all over the place.
